MEET SVEN & SHAI
Sven Nickerson began drawing at age three. Throughout his adolescent years, he received many accolades from his artwork including a feature in the Star Telegram for creating the mascot and logo for the Arlington Humane Society. After overcoming seven years of depression, Nickerson found inspiration to pick up his pencils and brushes and pursue his gift again. With guidance from local artists' Sanah Brown, Anita Mays, and Derrick Williams, he learned and applied new techniques and business strategies to his passion becoming the phenomenal artist that he is today.
In 2017, Nickerson partnered with model, songstress and CEO of World Parade Marketing, Shailaun Manning to officially launch 7ART Mobile Paint Parties. After graduating with a PR degree from UT Austin, Manning blended her newfound knowledge with her background in marketing and entertainment to help Nickerson develop a brand their community has come to love. Shailaun recently released her debut album, Spread Love, a crowd favorite at 7ART events.
"Sven and Shai" see a future with 7ART franchises in major cities throughout the US. Having a soft spot for helping the disadvantaged, Nickerson, former co-founder of Faith Walkers Charities expresses his desire to develop partnerships with wellness centers and homes servicing seniors and children with disabilities. In 2021, Manning also launched a nonprofit for mental health awareness through the arts, wellness and education. As a unit, the two have vowed to continue supporting each others altruistic efforts to uplift their communities, together.
